Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir have helped Kolkata Knight Riders start well in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 contest at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. Kolkata are chasing 150 for victory and are 22 for no loss in three overs. Click here for Live Blog of the Kings XI Punjab vs Kolkata Knight Riders game in the IPL 2014.

In the first over, Sandeep Sharma was getting decent movement and had troubled Robin Uthappa with a few that came in. Mitchell Johnson came on to bowl the second over and off the last ball, Gambhir pulled over over square-leg for a four. Then, in the third over, Sandeep strayed on Uthappa’s pads and he was flicked through mid-wicket for a four. He then drove one through long-0ff and then straight down the ground for a four. Kolkata brought in Morne Morkel and Piyush Chawla for Shakib Al Hasan and Vinay Kumar. Punjab dropped Shivam Sharma and Laksmipathy Balaji and brought back Parwinder Awana and Rishi Dhawan. On the back of Virender Sehwag’s 74, Punjab scored 149 for eight in their 20 overs.
