India players Rohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Stuart Binny have been released from the Test team and now can play for their states in the next round of the Ranji Trophy 2015-16. Rohit will go back to playing for Mumbai whereas Bhuvneshwar and Binny will go back to playing Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka respectively. The released players will join the Test squad ahead of the second Test, which is schedule to be played in Bangalore. Punjab players Gurkeerat Singh and Mandeep Singh will be a part of the reserve team to assist the Indian team. Varun Aaron finds a place in the first Test ahead of Bhuvneshwar who has had a brilliant season in the domestic circuit so far has been drafted into the team as the all-rounder in place of Binny. Jadeja has not played a single Test for India since he played against England in July 2014.
