Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper  Rohit Sharma will play his 100th Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Dubai on Friday.


The 26-year-old, who led Mumbai Indians to their maiden IPL trophy win last year, has been associated with the side since 2011. Before that, he used to play for Deccan Chargers.


Rohit has played 54 matches for the Mumbai franchise till now and has scored 1,372 runs. From his 99 matches, he has scored 2,542 runs and his highest score is an unbeaten 109 against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens in 2012.


The Mumbai skipper has a batting average of 32.17 and strike-rate of 129.49. He has slammed 202 fours and 111 sixes till now.


Rohit also has taken 14 wickets and his best bowling figure was while playing for Deccan Chargers in 2009, when he registered a four-wicket haul.


In IPL 2014, his side is yet to win a match and Rohit has to play a sensational and vital role to make sure the side registers it’s first win of the season against a dominant Chennai Super Kings.
