Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are at 50 for three after 10 overs against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 on April 19. This is the fifth match of IPL 7. Bangalore are chasing a low target of 116. Parthiv Patel is batting on 19 and AB de Villiers is on 18. RCB have solidified their innings after losing three quick wickets.
Zaheer bowled a poor delivery down the leg side and Parthiv guided it away towards fine-leg for a four. Pragyan Ojha was brought into the attack in the ninth over. Parthiv opened the face of the bat on Ojha’s first delivery and guided it towards third-man for three runs.
Earlier, Bangalore captain Kohli had won the toss and elected to bowl first. The decision proved right at the time as Mumbai could only manage to post a low total of 115 for nine in their 20 overs. Ambati Rayudu top-scored for Mumbai with 35 runs off 37 deliveries. The next highest scorer was Corey Anderson with 18 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal, Mitchell Starc and Varun Aaron took two wickets each.
