After participating in popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7, disgraced India Test cricketer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth is likely to be seen in another reality show, “Bigg Boss.
Bigg Boss, which is adapted from Netherlands’ Big Brother, have seen many cricketers participate in the past. Sreesanth was banned from cricket for by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) last September, has started being part of films and reality shows. If selected, this will be his third reality show.
Sreesanth is soon to start working on his debut film. Sreesanth’s film is all set to go on the floors by October 3, this year. The Kerala cricketer has also composed music and produced six songs for a Tamil film.
The 31-year-old cricketer had exited Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, after having an argument with celebrity judges Madhuri Dixit, Remo D’Souza and Karan Johar, when they pointed out flaws in his performance. However, later on he said that the outburst was due to injury.
“The outburst was more because of the disappointment than anger as I was doing extremely well on the show during the past six weeks. I think I just had a bad day. It was wrong timing and wrong choice of song,” Sreesanth has told PTI. He said he could not dance to his full potential as he sustained an injury in his back just minutes ahead of his performance. He was also surprised that this week’s elimination round was shot first, which does not happen normally.
