Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli most searched sportsmen by Google in 2015

Six Indians are in the top-10 list 2015 of most searched sportsmen list released by Google on Wednesday

India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli stands out in the most searched sportsmen list on Google 2015 list ahead of Barcelona FC’s maestro Lionel Messi. Six Indians have topped the list released by Google on Wednesday. Our little master might have retired, but Sachin Tendulkar still dominates the search engines, so does our One-Day-International (ODI) skipper MS Dhoni. They are rank third and fourth respective and are ahead of the Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo. Tennis player, Sania Mirza who ranks seventh, is the only non-cricketer amongst the top ten lists. Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh are respectively eighth and ninth ahead of Tennis World No. 1 player Novac Djokovic. READ ALSO: Rohit Sharma gets married to long-time girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh

Dhoni has been on the limelight for good and bad reasons. He had a shaky start to the year with his Indian Premier League (IPL) team  Chennai Super Kings been pulled off and on the other hand receiving critical comments on his performance. Tendulkar is back in the Twenty20 venture along with Shane Warne with All Stars in United States. Rohit Sharma might not have had a great year with his bat, but he definitely ended this year on a good note for his engagement and marriage with his long time girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh, which was attended by many cricket and Bollywood personalities. While Yuvraj Singh, has made news around for his engagement with Hazel Keech, along with his batsman skills at domestic cricket and his return in One-Day-International (ODI) and Twenty20 series.
