Sachin Tendulkar to retire after 200th Test

Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has announced that he will retire from the Tests following his impending 200th Test.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) tweeted about the development.

According to BCCI’s press release, Tendulkar contacted the Board to announce his desire to quit after his 200th Test that could be played during the home series against the West Indies.

Tendulkar has currently played 198 Test and has amassed 15,837 runs at an average of 53.86.
