Sachin Tendulkar walks out to bat in Lord’s bicentenary match

Rest of World played Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in a One-Day match to celebrate 200 years of cricket played at Lord’s on Sunday. Sachin Tendulkar captained the MCC team. As he walked down the famous Lord’s balcony, he was given a thunderous applause by the MCC members. It was a great occasion to see a legend walking through the Lord’s balcony.
The batting maestro played a fine knock of 44 in the game, before he got out to the bowling of wily Sri Lankan off-spinner, Muttiah Muralitharan. MCC eventually won the game by seven wickets with Aaron Finch essaying a superb knock of 181 not out. Rest of World earlier had made 293 for the loss of seven wickets on the board. The other famous player in the MCC setup, Brian Lara could make only 23.
