India have announced their squad for the One-Day International (ODI) series and the only T20 International (T20I) against England. The regulars, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma among others make a return after they were rested for the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series in Bangladesh. India haven’t made any huge changes to the side and it is more or less on expected lines.
Stuart Binny, who had a good Test debut in England had shone with the ball in Bangladesh has managed to hold on to his place in the side. Ajinkya Rahane also remains in the side following his encouraging performances in recent times. Robin Uthappa and Cheteshwar Pujara have been dropped. Uthappa had a decent outing in Bangladesh, but in the tri-series Down Under, he struggled to make a mark though India A won. Sanju Samson, who has long been touted as one of India’s most impressive young batsmen, has made his maiden appearance in the squad.
