Scott Styris becomes only 2nd player to get T20 double of 4000 runs and 100 wickets during Hobart Hurricanes vs Northern Knights, CLT20 2014 Match 9 at Raipur
Styris became only the second man in all T20 cricket after Pollard to achieve the feat.
Scott Styris achieved a personal landmark during the ninth match of the Champions League T20 (CLT20) 2014 between Northern Knights and Hobart Hurricanes. The Kiwi all-rounder — playing in his 199th match — became only the second man in all T20 cricket to achieve the double of 4000 runs and 100 wickets. He followed Kieron Pollard to the landmark.
Earlier, Both openers, Anton Devcich and Kane Williamson, and No 4 batsman Daniel Flynn, were dismissed by the third over. The Knights won the toss and elected to bowl first. Off-spinner Jono Boult — older brother of Trent — came in to the side for the Knights, who are currently undefeated in the CLT20 2014 since the qualifiers.
