India searched for wickets. South Africa, on the other hand, were content in moving the game slowly and steadily out of India’s grasp in the second session of Day Four. Only 57 runs came in the post-lunch session, wherein Ishant Sharma struck twice. Ishant maintained tight lines and lengths, and was rewarded with Vernon Philander and Keshav Maharaj’s scalps. Faf du Plessis, who looks satisfied in playing the waiting game, remains unbeaten on 37*. With a lead of 258 runs, South Africa need a little more to add pressure in the Indian camp.

India, on the other hand, would look to wrap up South Africa’s tail when play resumes for the evening session.
