Visitors England face off against hosts South Africa in the second of the five-match One-Day International (ODI) series at the St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on Saturday. South Africa, who have been in a terrible form of late, lost the Test series to the visitors 1-2, also lost the opening game to the visitors again by 39 runs in a rain marred game via D/L method. They would aim to shrug off the win and bounce back strong in the second game as they are the hosts and won’t look to back out. England, on the other hand, would look to continue the winning momentum and as they aim to ransack the South African team in every game and come out on top. England will have no quips about how they performed. Among their top six batsmen only one in skipper Eoin Morgan (23) failed to score over 40 runs. There were fifties from Joe Root, Alex Hales and Ben Stokes apart from Buttler’s incredible ton. Importantly all batsmen seemed to play to the need of the situation. For England the most productive bowler was off-spinner Moeen Ali who only seems to be getting better with each match. He picked three wickets for 43 runs in his six overs. Chris Jordan was very expensive for them, conceding runs at over 10. David Willey was also fairly impressive, conceding just 30 runs from five overs with the wicket of Amla to go with.
