Andrew Sinclair, SACA President  was quoted by perthnow.com.au  saying, “The images are designed to ensure the western side of the oval is clearly themed about cricket and to highlight the very talented people who have represented SA over our history. It is a celebration of the legends of the game – the men and women who have played for South Australia and Australia over many proud years at Adelaide Oval. Naming of the Lyn Fullston Lawns and the SACA Avenue of Honour has been a long and thorough process. While we today name 25 greats of South Australian cricket, along with other significant players who have made headlines here, it is still a work in progress. It’s been an important process for SACA to recognise the remarkable history of women’s cricket in this state.” Jacques Kallis retires: SACA, cricketers pay rich tribute

Fullston played both cricket and netball for Australia’s national team. She is considered as one of the best woman cricketers produced by Australia. Lynn Fullston medal is awarded annually to the best player in SACA Women’s B Grade Competition.
