Sri Lanka have announced Test squad for the upcoming series against West Indies at home. In a meeting held recently, where the selectors picked the side. Mathews is now Sri Lanka’s leading run-getter in Tests in Sangakkara’s absence. Opener Dimuth Karunaratne had a forgettable series against India and will be looking to make amends after being given another chance in the Sri Lankan squad. there aere a few new faces in the side, with the 20-year old Kusal Mendis being roped in as probably a back-up wicketkeeper. Tharindu Kaushal and Rangana Herath will continue to lead Sri Lanka in the spin department.
