Sri Lanka in commanding position against Bangladesh at Lunch on Day 2 of 1st Test

Sri Lanka continued their dominance over Bangladesh in the Test match at Mirpur by scoring 139 for the loss of one wicket at the end of first session of the second day’s play. Kaushal Silva remained not out on 66. Kumar Sangakkara was giving him company with 11 runs on the board.
Earlier, after winning the all important toss, Sri Lanka cleaned up Bangladesh for just 232 and ended the first day’s play in a strong position with 60 for no loss. For Bangladesh, Mushfiqur Rahim top scored with 61. Shakib Al Hasan made a fine 55 as well. Sri Lanka’s top wicket-taker turned out to be Shaminda Eranga. Suranga Lakmal supported him well by taking three wickets himself.
Bangladesh 232 (Shakib Al Hasan 55, Mushfiqur Rahim 61, Sohag Gazi 42; Shaminda Eranga 4 for 49, Suranga Lakmal 3 for 66) lead Sri Lanka 139 for one (Dimuth Karunaratne 60, Kaushal Silva 70*) by 93 runs.
