Sri Lanka will soon begin its hunt for a brand new team of coaching staff, including head coach, fielding coach and trainer.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will soon advertise calling for applications to appoint a brand new team of coaching staff. The SLC had appointed former captain and batting coach Marvan Atapattu as the interim head coach, following Englishman Paul Farbrace’s decision to leave the Sri Lanka job ahead of the country’s tour of England in May.

43-year-old Atapattu is currently handling the team for the current tour of South Africa and the tour by Pakistan next month.
