Umar Akmal was dismissed in the nineteenth of the third and final One-Day International between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at Dambulla. Akmal hit the ball high into the air, and was caught by Lasith Malinga, who took a brilliant diving catch. Pakistan were reeling at 55 for 5 after Akmal’s dismissal.
The hosts defeated Pakistan by 77 runs in the 2nd One-Day International at Hambantota, thereby squaring the series at 1-1. The fans witnessed a cracker of a a game and they can expect some more fireworks from these two sides, for one last time time in this three match ODI series.
