Sri Lanka will look to put the year 2017 behind and start a fresh in their first match of the year. It is indeed a fresh start for them with Chandika Hathurusingha being appointed as the new coach. Hathurusingha who earlier coached for Bangladesh will know the conditions very well. It will prove to be a big plus for Sri Lanka in the series.

Zimbabwe on the other hand will look to register a win in the series after losing the first match against Bangladesh. Sikandar Raza who scored a 52 in the last match will want to carry the same form in this match and try to score big.
