Stuart Broad to play his 50th match for England in T20Is

England‘s seamer and captain of their Twenty20 (T20) side Stuart Broad will play his 50th match in the T20 format against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday.
England captain Broad made his debut in the T20 format in 2006 against Pakistan at Bristol. His first wicket in that format was of Shaoib Malik who was trapped in front by Broad. He has since then gone onto take 58 wickets at 22.48 in the format. He is the first player from England to achieve the milestone in the shortest format of the game. Until now, 12 players have crossed the milestone of playing 50 games in the format. Shahid Afridi has played the most number of games with 70 to his name.
