Thirush Kamini became the second highest Indian Women scorer in Test cricket after she scored a superb 192 against South Africa Women at Mysore. It took her a massive 430 balls to get to the score with a strike-rate of 44.65, including 24 boundaries and a six. With the score, Kamini stands next to Mithali Raj who has a score of 214 she scored against England Women at Taunton in 2002. Kamini’s previous best score was of just 28 and this big score of her comes as a great achievement.
India Women declared on 400 for the loss of six and currently the visiting team is on 85 for the loss of three wickets at the end of Day 2.
