Sri Lanka opener Tillakaratne Dilshan dismissed in the second over of the 2nd One-Day International (ODI) against Pakistan at Hambantota on Tuesday. Pakistani pacers are getting movement off the deck. The short stuff was not working well against Dilshan so Junaid Khan pitched one up and Dilshan ended up knicking it.
On field umpire, Steve Davies did not give it out initially and Pakistan reviewed the decision. To everyone’s surprise the decision was overturned. It was a controversial decision. The commentators also did not hear anything. Their might have been a faint edge but it was a tough call for the thirs umpire S Ravi. Dilshan could not believe that he was given out. Dilshan should have got the benefit of doubt but he was unfortunate. Pakistan will aim to register a series win when they take on Sri Lanka in the second One-Day International (ODI) at Hambantota on Tuesday. Pakistan lead the three-match series 1-0, having won the first game by four wickets at the same venue.
