Under 19 World Cup winning team emulated India seniors: ACA

Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) on Sunday congratulated the Indian under-19 cricket team, which was crowned World Champions in Australia.

ACA president D V Subba Rao and secretary Dr Gokaraju Gangaraju, director M S K Prasad and Members of ACA congratulated the U-19 team for the World Cup win.

“U-19 Indian Team emulated the Indian seniors, who lifted the World Cup previously,” a press release said.

They also praised the ton by skipper Unmukt Chand and the “valuable contributions” of Patel and Baba Aparajith, “which helped them lift the trophy”. (PTI)
