The friendship between Ashish Nehra and Virender Sehwag is no news. The India teammates used to live nearby and go to practise together. Sehwag, who hails from Najafgarh, used to pick Nehra up from Delhi Cantonment on his scooter, on his way to practice at Feroz Shah Kotla and also used to drop him home. As Nehra reveals on Breakfast with Champions, many a times, when Sehwag would arrive, Nehra would still be asleep. Nehra’s father would then ask Sehwag to wake him up. In order to get ready early, Nehra would rather miss the milk kept for him and instead, Sehwag would drink it.
The discussion then moved on to the fashion sense of his peers, and the one guy that he named when asked about being fashionable during 2000s is Yuvraj Singh. Saying that neither he nor Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan were into fancy clothing or luxurious lifestyle; he revealed how Yuvraj loved, and still maintains his love for luxurious items such as bags, hats and shoes.
