Glenn Maxwell and Sachin Tendulkar share an excellent relationship since their days in Mumbai Indians (MI). Maxwell made his debut in the cash-rich T20 league in its fifth edition in 2012 for the Delhi Daredevils (DD) franchise, playing two games for them. He went on to play for MI in the following year, playing alongside skipper Tendulkar. The hard-hitting Victorian batsman was then sold to the Preity Zinta-owned Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the following year for a price of Rs. 6 crore, for whom he has played ever since.
