Former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has shown he is pitch perfect both on and off the field, joining Danielle de Villiers, wife of South Africa’s ace player AB de Villiers in a musical duet at Bangalore on Wednesday. The duo performed on the David Guetta song ‘Titanium’ which was watched by de Villiers himself along with their infant son. During an Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) event, Watson took the stage on fire with his singing skills with guitar and joined Danielle for a musical jam session on the stage. It was de Villiers showcasing this proud moment on Instagram with a adorable message viewing his wife performance, “Little AB saw his Mom perform for the 1st time last night. Special times!” FULL CRICKET SCORECARD: Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders, IPL 2016, Match 24 at Mumbai

After the performance, Watson could not resist to share this delightful moment on his social media account as well with a note mentioning, “Awesome fun sharing the stage with @BestKeptMusic last night #excitingnewband #thanks #PlayBold.” South Africa’s Test and ODI skipper is also a talented man but chose to watch his better half perform along with his on field pair Watson.
RCB are roaring with their batting line up in IPL 9 and will hope to continue the momentum. As for team performance in IPL has been pretty low despite scoring mammoth total in every game against their opponent. Recently, RCB skipper Virat Kohli secured his maiden t20 century against Gujarat Lions (GL) that went in vain despite all the hard work. De Villiers and Kohli’s partnership in every game has been lauded and hopefully the two time finalists can manage to lift the trophy this year.
