India Test captain Virat Kohli is not just a star on-field but also has some special talents off the field as well. As it was known, Kohli and music maestro AR Rahman were to come together to compose an anthem for Futsal Premier League 2016 and the preparations were on for it since a month. This time Kohli expressed his excitement by releasing the teaser of the anthem on his social media page. Kohli is known to be expressive and vocal about his opinions on social media, this time the Test skipper did just that. This was for the first time when the Oscar Award-winning composer lended his musical genius to a franchise-based sport league in the country. Commenting on the same, Rahman had said, “I’m proud to associate with Premier Futsal for the league’s official anthem. It makes me happy to see such young entrepreneurs being passionate about the sporting scenario of the country and I wish them all the success in this venture. While Kohli was elated to work with the musical genius and he expressed his excitement during the shoot of the anthem where he mentioned on Twitter saying, “An honor to have spent some time with the legend, Mr. @arrahman. Genius at work & epitome of humility. Thank You Sir” along with an image. He also said, “I have been a fan of A.R Rahman for years. It will be a personal achievement and also a privilege to share the screen with him and lend my voice to the anthem of Premier Futsal.”
