Video: Virat Kohli’s special message to Aleem Dar’s son

After India have taken 1-0 lead in four-Test series, will lock horns with West Indies for 2nd Test at Kingston in Jamaica on Saturday.

India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli has huge fan following across the globe. His ever growing success has earned him a large base of hearty followers. Amongst those followers is Pakistan umpire Aleem Dar’s son Hasan. He seems to be staunch supporter of Kohli and this time Dar conveyed the message to Indian Test skipper. Kohli, who is known to fulfill fans requests instantly, recorded a personalised message for Dar’s son. While recording the message, he showed Dar sitting beside him and was happy to know his son believes in commitment and hard work just like himself. He signed off saying that he will send out his signed bat across to Hasan very soon. Meanwhile, Kohli began his journey in four-Test series against West Indies with maiden double century and being the first Indian captain to do so. The Indian team thumped the West Indies in the opening test by an outstanding margin of an innings and 92 runs at Antigua. It was not Kohli, but also the bowlers and Ravichandra Ashwin in particular, who shone with his third Test century and seven-wicket haul in 1st Test. Kohli and co received praises from the entire cricket fraternity for their all-round performance from former cricketers like VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag, Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle and India Women’s Anjum Chopra. India, which is bidding to clinch third consecutive series whitewash against the Caribbean side, have now taken a 1-0 lead in the four-Test series. The two sides will next lock horns at Kingston in Jamaica from July 30.
