Virat Kohli continued his unstoppable spree of scoring and making records in the game when he smashed his fifth double hundred in Test cricket. He achieved the feat on Day Three of the second of the three-Test series against visitors Sri Lanka at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Nagpur on Sunday. He was dismissed for 213 by Dilruwan Perera after being caught by Lahiru Thirimanne. His previous double hundreds came against New Zealand, West Indies, Bangladesh and England. Earlier, Kohli also broke the record of Sunil Gavaskar by scoring the most hundreds as the Indian skipper. Kohli has now 12 tons as skipper under his name, while Kohli also holds the record of most international centuries as a captain in a calendar year. He leaves behind Ricky Pionting and Graeme Smith as the most centuries in a calendar year. Live cricket updates, Ind vs SL, 1st Test, Day 3
