Virat Kohli’s hundred steers India on day two

A valiant hundred by Virat Kohli has helped India to reach 269 runs at lunch on second day of the second warm-up match at Canberra.
Resuming India’s innings at 162 for 4, wickets kept tumbling from one end as Virat earlier lost Rohit Sharma who made 47 runs. Earlier he lost his partner Rohit Sharma who shared a 101-run partnership with the centurion.
But Kohli, kept his cool to score his hundred in the first session of day two of the practice match off 139 balls.
India were eventually dismissed for 269 runs.
CA Chairman’s XI lost the wicket of David Warner while batting second as Abhimanyu Mithun bowled David Warner off the fourth bowl of the first over.
Chairman’s XI are trailing India by 263 runs.
