Virat Kohli has become the first Indian captain ever in their history to score a double century in Test cricket. Kohli achieved this feat during the first session on the second day of their opening Test against West Indies, at Antigua. As India took lunch at a commanding position of 404 for 4 in their first innings, Kohli remained unbeaten on exact 200 off 281 balls, having struck 24 boundaries. But right after lunch, a few balls into the game, the Indian skipper chopped one onto his wickets. However, he was finally able to complete his maiden double century in First-Class cricket, which he celebrated by taking off his helmet and kissing the field.
