Few days back, it was announced that Virat Kohli and Bollywood star Aamir Khan will be coming together for a chat show on the occasion of Diwali. While the show will be on air in the coming weeks, Kohli and Aamir spilled the beans on some interesting topics. Needless to say, Kohli’s ‘better half’ and actor Anushka Sharma has a hot topic of discussion. Aamir even teased Kohli with her, whereas the Indian skipper accepted that Anushka has made him a better human being.

Kohli shared his equation with Anushka to Aamir and stated, “I love that she’s honest and always caring. I don’t hate but one thing I dislike is that she’s always 5-7 minutes late. She’s been with me throughout and we have a great understanding. She’s improved me as a person in last 3-4 years that we’ve been together.”

Kohli is popularly called as ‘Cheeku’ by his Indian cricket team members and some closed ones. Aamir asked as to how he got this name, and Kohli replied, “During the Under 17, I had a haircut due to which my ears looked big. So everyone called me ‘Cheeku’ (rabbit). Eventually MS Dhoni started and stump mic did it’s job.”

Kohli was also accompanied by opener and Royal Challengers Banglaore teammate, KL Rahul. Rahul also took up few questions on his captain. On being asked about Kohli’s good and bad quality, Rahul had some interesting answers. “Fitness, improvement in his game and more responsible. On the other hand, He (Kohli) likes to show off, roams shirtless in the changing room, and always on the phone”, added Rahul on his bad quality.

Aamir was interested to know which of his films has the Indian skipper enjoyed. Kohli named a few, “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, 3 Idiots and yes PK as well. On hearing PK, Aamir quickly responded, “Haan woh toh pasand aayegi hi! (Ofcourse you would like that movie, as ‘PK’ featured Anushka in the lead).

On April 2, 2011 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, India became the first team to win the World Cup while hosting it. Nonetheless, it wasn’t an easy ride. Chasing 274, India were 31 for 2 when Kohli walked out to bat. He shared his feelings while facing in-form Lasith Malinga. He stated, “Mujhe darr lag raha tha Malinga yorker nahi daale, already I was nervous. But after 2-3 balls, I settled down. (I was afraid of facing Malinga’s yorker. I was already nervous but I settled down after a few deliveries).

Aamir too was in the stands cheering for Team India that night. And an otherwise calm Aamir was far more animated.

With so many interesting revelations, we are sure everyone is eagerly awaiting to watch this show.
