Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh have kept Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) well in control of the chase of 151 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 11th match of the Indian premier League (IPL). Kohli was at his elegant best scoring at will against the pacers. Bangalore are 109 for two in 14 overs. They need 42 in 36 balls.
Sunil Narine was called upon to bowl the twelfth over, and he responded by bowling another tight over, going for just three runs off it. In the eleventh over, Yuvraj pulled Umesh Yadav over midwicket for six. Kohli followed it up by hitting Yadav thorough midwicket for a boundary to make it 13 runs off the over.
Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost two back-to-back wickets. After a 67-run opening stand, Yogesh Takawale was the first to be dismissed for a 28-ball 40. Parthiv Patel followed soon dismissed by Vinay Kumar for 21. Bangalore were 77 for two after 10 overs.
