Later in the day, more records tumbled as Glenn Maxwell equaled Simon O’Donnell’s Australian record of fastest ODI half-century and James Faulkner struck the fastest ton by an Australian. While Maxwell brought up his 50 off 18 balls, Faulkner scored a ton in 57 deliveries. Tendulkar scored his double ton against South Africa at Gwalior in 2010. Sehwag achieved his double century against the West Indies in 2011 in Indore.
