Sachin’s Blasters faced a 57-run defeat in the second Twenty20 match against Warne’s Warrior’s in the ongoing Cricket All Stars Series 2015 and thereby the latter side sealed the three-match series 2-0 with the final match scheduled to happen on Sunday. While every batsman from Warriors made a vital contribution, Sachin’s men failed to convert their respective good starts into a big knock and the regular fall of wickets shot the required run rate every time, hence handing them a disappointing loss despite having the likes of Mahela Jayawardene, Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly in the team. Live Cricket Score, Sachin’s Blasters vs Warne’s Warriors, Cricket All-Stars 2015, 2nd T20 at Houston: Warriors win by 57 runs

In reply to Warrior’s huge total of 262, Blasters opening pair—Sachin and Sehwag—were off to a good start, scoring 20 runs from the first 11 balls before the latter was bowled by former teammate Ajit Agarkar. Sehwag who had smashed two sixes in the opening two overs of their chase, was asked by commentator Mike Haysman what was going on in his mind while he hit those big shots. To that Sehwag sang a song like he did while playing international cricket and that epic moment was followed by his disappointing dismissal, leaving Blasters at 20 for 1 after two overs.

When skipper Sachin got going, was getting boundaries on regular intervals, the doosra-inventor, Saqlain Mushtaq was brought in who did the job for his skipper. After bowling out Sachin, he even trapped Jayawardene leg before wicket, making the chase even more hard for the Blasters. Towards the end the South African duo—Shaun Pollock and Lance Klusener—displayed excellent fighting. They build a 62-run partnership for the seventh wicket in just 3.4 overs. Pollock was dimissed after scoring an excellent 55 from 22 deliveries. READ: Warne’s Warriors hammer Sachin’s Blasters to post 262 in 2nd T20 at Houstan
