India are at 100 for two at stumps on Day One of the second Test against New Zealand in Wellington. They trail by 92 runs after New Zealand were bowled out for 192 in their first innings. Shikhar Dhawan is batting on 71 and Ishant Sharma is on three.

 

MS Dhoni had won the toss and elected to field first. Ishant was the pick of the bowlers as he took career-best figures of six for 51. Mohammed Shami took four wickets for 70 runs. Kane Williamson top-scored with 47. James Neesham scored 33 and Tim Southee notched up 32 runs.
