After the hectic tour of Australia and New Zealand, England‘s highest Test wicket-taker James Anderson has returned back to his territory. He is currently representing Lancashire in their County season encounter versus Somerset. Anderson’s presence was sure to test the Somerset batsmen and keep them at bay. In addition, his involvement would have surely contributed in attendance. However, Anderson hasn’t didn’t display a match-winning spell (yet) but caught everyone’s attention courtesy his bizarre hairdo. Anderson has dyed his hair platinum blonde, harking back to his fledgling days when his raw pace and hairstyle made the front page.

Anderson made his England debut under Nasser Hussain in 2003. At the time of his debut, he was sporting blonde highlights, before switching to the famous ‘skunk’ look with a red stripe running through his hair. Many have a mixed reactions on his current hairstyle. But, Anderson has the looks and swag to pull it off.

The new hairdo, however, couldn’t do wonders for the Englishman. He ended wicketless in his opening spell versus Somerset. At the time of publishing this report, Anderson has bowled 16 overs and conceded 55 runs (3.44). Somerset have been in the driver’s seat courtesy Marcus Trescothik’s unbeaten ton.
