(Catch live cricket score and live updates of the Twenty20 International  played between West Indies and New Zealand)

The rain has stopped play again! New Zealand are ahead as per D/L method. Yes New Zealand have won the match but as it is as per D/L method they have done it not by number of wickets but 12 runs.
New Zealand continue to canter towards a fine win. Corey Anderson smashes a full toss to the boundary boards. West Indies get a newer ball and wow it works as Anderson loses his wicket to Sammy. Ronchi is thew batsman for the Kiwis.
C Anderson c S Narine b D Sammy 15(9)
Corey Anderson shows his immense power by smashing Pollard for a six. Pollard gets a dose of his own medicine. Just under 30 runs required now for the well-oiled team of New Zealand  to win the game. Is there anyone betting against them winning the match.
From nowhere Sammy takes another wicket and that too of the big fish, McCullum. It was there to be hit but McCullum missed and Sammy.was caught by Dwayne Smith fielding at backward square leg position. Windies though a lot more wickets.
B McCullum c D Smith b D Sammy 40(35)
The rain is getting heavier and New Zealand will be happy with it as they are ahead on the D/L method. Anothe over is completed and New Zealand in cruise control mode. Windies in simple words need wickets and plenty of them too.
Ross Taylor is fine touch for New Zealand too. Russell bowls below par and Taylor smashes him for 18 runs including two sixes. Taylor has to be one of the best players going around on the leg-side. Sammy is going through the D/L sheet for now and that is all he can do.
Both experienced batsmen rotating the strike as New Zealand inch towards chasing down the target. Some sensible batting here by the experienced duo. When you have made just 13 runs on the board you can’t expect much from the bowlers.
Ah, well did the captain Darren Sammy hear me? He has taken Kane Williamson’s wicket caught and bowled. McCullum though continues to be in fine touch. In the same over Kane Williamson got out, he thwacked Sammy down the ground for a boundary.
K Williamson c&b Sammy 19(18)
Narine continues to bowl and McCullum continues to play shots. Narine bowls slightly short and McCullum rocks back to essay short arm pull. The captain is looking in ominous touch and that is bad news for the Windies. Can some do some magic here.
Andre Russell bowls the 7th over of the innings and does a good job. He gives away just 3 runs in the over. But they need wickets here. New Zealand will look to keep wickets in hand and that should be enough to chase this target down.
Badree continues to be economical but he doesn’t have a huge target to back him. New Zealand batsmen just milk him for easy runs and take singles. Just looking to play him out. Kiwis are coasting towards a victory here. Windies need some magic.
McCullum has found his touch. He smashes Santokie for six over extra cover, then follows it up with two more boundaries. Some poor bowling by the medium pacer. He just doesn’t have to bowl short and wide to McCullum.
The trump card Narine into the attack. New Zealand play cautiously against him by taking singles and that is all they need to win this game. They don’t need those big hits but just some sensible batting.
New Zealand are 18 for 1 after 3 overs. They don’t need to deal in big hits as they are chasing a modest target. In fact both batsmen were content in taking singles during that over bowled by Samuel Badree the parsimonious leggie.
The wonder boy of Test cricket Neesham though is out as he loses his wicket to Santokie the medium pacer. The Windies would be happy with that wicket as Neesham looked in fine touch during his brief stay at the crease.McCullum the skipper is the new batsman.
J Neesham b K Santokie 11(8)
Badree bowls a fine first over for West Indies by giving away just two runs. Windies needed that as they defending a modest total on the board. Surprisingly, Neesham is opening the batting for the visitors along with Williamson.
Windies have made on the board. In the last over of the innings bowled by Southee Windies struggled to get him away. A modest score achieved by West Indies. Pollard too gets out now., Ramdin is run out of the last ball of the innings.
K Pollard c C Anderson b T Southee 16(6), D Ramdin run out 1(1)
Corey Anderson to continue for the Kiwis. Windies haven’t targeted the left arm medium pacer enough n the match. Well Russell now gets out and Anderson has taken a wicket. New Zealand have done well to keep taking wickets at regular  intervals.
A Russell c J Taylor b C Anderson1(5)
Pollard joins the fun with a six off Boult. New Zealand need to bowl with pluck and require some luck as these two can smash them to smithereens. Sammy though loses his wicket to Boult. Russell has come into bat at No 7 in the batting order.
D Sammy c T Southee b T  Boult 10(4)
Fletcher is out. He looks to slog Sodhi the leggie and gets out caught by Boult. Has there ever been a batsman from WI who has only looked to slog? Even Wallace used to play that odd authentic stroke in the 1990s. Sammy straightaway into the action as he cambers Sodhi for six and four.
A Fletcher c T Boult b I Sodhi 52(39)
Slower bouncers and slower ones. It seems like these days pacers run into the crease to bowl slow! Neesham is certainly trying that for now. Fletcher completes his fifty. Pollard is batting at the other end. Time for lights, camera and electrifying action now as we go into the last four overs of the innings.
Fletcher in the mood now. He can play those agricultural hoicks for sure. First he thumps Anderson between long and mid wicket for a six and then smashes him for another. The word elegance is like Sharapova saying she doesn’t know who is Tendulkar for our good old Fletcher. Just in nick of time though Anderson gets Bravo’s wicket.
D Bravo c L Ronchi b C Anderson 30(28)
Southee into the attack. He hasn’t got his line right and to make it worse oversteps. Thanfully for him the free hit doesn’t cost him much. Both batsmen haven’t capitalised on what wasn’t a good over. Windies at least need 140 here.
It is either six or nothing with the Windies. Fletcher smokes another six. He slogged it over the bowler who would have been happy that it didn’t come anywhere near him. Well finally a boundary and yet again Fletcher has bludgeoned it back past the bowler.
Anderson continues with his mixture of slower ones and back of a length hit the deck stuff. Windies batsmen still struggling to find the boundary. Already 10 overs have been bowled and Kiwis at present would be happy.
Ish Sodhi into the attack. On his debut he is greeted with a six by Bravo. He just cleared his front leg to smash hism for a six. Welcome to the world of T20s Sodhi! The leggie undoubtedly seemed to have been hit by jangling of nerves in his 1st over.
Corey Anderson into the attack. The left-armer bowling a few slower ones. He is also trying a few short deliveries. Windies batsmen need to up the ante. At present they are looking to rotate the strike and take singles.
Neesham to bowl the seventh over. He uses a few variations to keep the batsmen guessing. It has started to rain again!!! It has to be said though that it is only a drizzle. So they are playing for now. Windies have started well after the rain break.
Boult to resume bowling after resumption in play. He starts with a wide. Other than that wide a decent over by the left-arm paceman till now. However Fletcher spoils the good work by clouting him for a six over long on. He picked up the length quickly.
Good start from Jimmy Neesham as he gives away just four runs from his first over. Windies need to get a move on as they need a good score on the board to challenge a fine Kiwi side brimming with confidence. Unfortunately covers have come on as rain stops play.
Boult bowling his second over for the Kiwis. He has got his line and length right now. Interesting to see that ground staff are ready with the covers as they expect some rain. At the ground Boult digs one short and Braco upper cuts it for a six. Windies needed that.
Windies lose another wicket here as Smith tries to pull a short delivery from swing bowler Southee and only manages to hit it straight to Watling. Bad start this for the Windies. Southee again getting late swing in the over which is an asset to any pacer as you can defeat the batsman in the air.
D Smith c BJ Watling b T Southee 8(13)
Trent Boult not getting his line or length right here. He finally gets one right that swung back sharply into Simmons to trap him dead in front. Good wicket for New Zealand to start with. Windies need to consolidate now as they have lost a wicket early in the piece.
L Simmons lbw b T Boult 1(3)
Lendl Simmons and Dwayne Smith to open the batting for West Indies. Southee to open the bowling for New Zealand. He finds a bit of outswing and even manages to beat Simmons outside off. Southee is also getting decent bounce here.Southee bowls on Smith’s pads and Smith who is good through the on side flicks him for a boundary.
