New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bat in the second Test against West Indies at Port of Spain on Monday. The Kiwis brought in Hamish Rutherford for Peter Fulton and retained the two spinners. The Windies though made three changes to their side. Catch Live Scorecard here.

The Kiwis are leading the series 1-0. The New Zealand batting outclassed Windies in the first innings which proved to be the turning point in the first Test.

The pitch at Port of Spain is likely to assist the pacers early on and spinners will not have as much say as they had in the first Test. Even that would be a hint of concern for the hosts as their spinners failed to achieve the same magic as debutant Craig and Ish Sodhi. Suleiman Benn and Shane Shillingford struggled to extract the turn. West Indies have brought in an extra pacer in Shannon Gabriel for Shane Shillingford.
