West Indies have taken complete control of their ICC World T20 2014 encounter against Pakistan at Mirpur. Chasing 167 to win the game, Pakistan are tottering at 35 for four in 10 overs.
Pakistan lost their top order for almost nothing. The last man to go was Shoaib Malik as he was stumped off Samuel Badree’s bowling. Badree has completed a remarkable spell, where he has taken three wickets in four overs for only 10 runs.
Sohaib Maqsood is in the middle with Mohammad Hafeez. The shot to release some pressure came from Maqsood when he carted a six over mid-wicket. But with all the early damage, Pakistan are still struggling.
Earlier, West Indies were having a tough time during their innings. But then, Darren Sammy and Dwayne Bravo blazed away to help West Indies score 166. Pakistan will need something similar if they are to get anywhere close to the total.
