West Indies stuttered after the loss of Marlon Samuels and Lendl Simmons in quick succession in their ICC World T20 2014 match against Pakistan. West Indies had lost the early wickets of Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith. In 15 overs, West Indies are 84 for five in 15 overs.

Simmons was out when Shahid Afridi hit him on the pads and Samuels called him for a run. By the time Simmons reached the other end, he was found short as the direct throw came in. Later Samuels hit a six, but then off the next ball he chopped one back onto his stumps.

To make matters worse, West Indies lost Denesh Ramdin in the 14th over when he smashed one towards deep mid-wicket caught by Umar Akmal off Zulfiqar Babar’s bowling.
