MS Dhoni was busy with national duty when his daughter Ziva was born, helping India defend the title during 2016 World Cup. Given he was focusssed, he kept his mobile phone away, at the same time when he was expecting his first child with Sakshi Dhoni.
It is now revealed in a book by prominent news anchor Rajdeep Sardesai that it was Suresh Raina who delivered the happy news to his skipper after a phone call from Sakshi. Rajdeep, son of former India cricketer Dileep Sardesai, in his titled ‘Democracy’s XI: The Great Indian Cricket Story’, gave a detailed anecdote of the same.
Publisher of the book, Juggernaut Books tweeted about the same a few days ago.
