Pakistan manage to restrict Sri Lanka to 153 for four at Tea on Day One of the third Test against Sri Lanka at Pallekele. Yasir Shah picked up three wickets in the post-lunch session to ensure that Sri Lanka go into the break with a spot of bother. Upul Tharanga was the first one to be dismissed for 46 after he was caught at slips by Younis Khan. He was then soon followed by Lahiru Thirimanne, who took 17 balls to get off the mark. He soon lost patience as he holed out at mid off. Skipper Angelo Mathews walked out to the crease, looking to give support to Dimuth Karunaratne, who had surpassed his half-century by then. Karunaratne will hope that Jehan Mubarak gives him good supprt now. Mubarak is back in the Sri Lankan squad after a gap of seven years and will look to make the best out of this opportunity. He had a healthy domestic season and it will be interesting to see if he can kick on from here.
Earlier, Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and elected to bowl first. Both teams have made four changes to their sides. Kumar Sangakkara has opted out of the match, but will be a part of the series against India, which begins in August.
