Yusuf Pathan became the seventh cricketer to play 150 matches in Indian T20 League during Hyderabad’s match against Rajasthan at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad. The 35-year-old had played his first match of the league for Rajasthan in the inaugural season and played a massive role in the side’s championship triumph. Having been a part of the cash-rich league since its inception in 2008, Pathan turns up for Hyderabad this season after seven years with Kolkata.

After three seasons with Rajasthan, Kolkata acquired Yusuf in 2011 for a whopping US$ 2.1 million. During the 2018 auctions, Hyderabad and Delhi bid for the Baroda all-rounder, whose base price was INR 75 lakhs. Hyderabad shelled out INR 1.9 crore to fetch the services of Yusuf.

Yusuf has scored 2,904 runs at 29.63 at a strike rate of 145.5 in the Indian T20 League. He also has 42 wickets to his name at an impressive economy rate of 7.39. He has been one of the most successful players in the tournament. He won the tournament in 2008 with Rajasthan, and later won it in 2012 and 2014, with Kolkata.
