Yuvraj Singh was quick to deny a rift with Indian captain MS Dhoni after his father Yograj Singh accused Dhoni of keeping Yuvraj out of India’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 team. Yuvraj tweeted in response of his father’s comments, saying that there was no problem between him and Dhoni, and that he would happily play under Dhoni again.
Earlier, India Today reported that Yograj lashed out at Dhoni following his son’s exclusion from the World Cup squad. “If MS Dhoni is having personal issues with my son, I won’t do anything, God will do justice. Pray India wins World Cup under your captaincy but nothing can be more sad that you behaved this way,” Yograj is reported to have said.
Like every parent my dad is also passionate and I am sure got carried away always enjoyed playing under Mahi n would do so in future
Yuvraj was in the eye of the storm with the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction that took place on February 16 after being picked up by Delhi Daredevils (DD) for a whopping Rs 16 crore. The discarded Indian left-hander became the most expensive player in IPL history for the second time in a row, after earlier having been bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) a year ago for Rs 14 crore. RCB were involved in another tense battle with DD to retain Yuvraj’s services, but lost out
