The cricket fraternity wished Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech as the two tied the nuptial knot on Wednesday. The ceremony took place in Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib in Dera of Baba Ram Singh, 40 kms away from Chandigarh. It was a private ceremony with relatives and family members of both groom and bride witnessing it. Guests turned up in traditional attires as the cricketer started the new innings of his life. Hazel, who has featured in many Bollywood projects such as Bodyguard, was seeing the dashing Punjabi cricketer for a long time and the two kept it away from the eyes of media. The couple got engaged in November last year in a private ceremony in Bali.
Though the couple tried to keep the media at bay, their friends shared pictures of the gorgeous wedding. Both the groom and the bride opted for traditional maroon wedding attires. Yuvraj was clad in a maroon sherwani while Hazel was seen flaunting a lehenga in red and maroon combination with a touch of gold to it. The couple tied the knot in a Sikh marriage. Earlier, a Sangeet ceremony was held on Tuesday which witnessed the presence of the entire Indian cricket team who came from a victory in Mohali. Virat Kohli, who is known be very close to Yuvraj off the field, was seen dancing to the beats of Ranjit Bawa, an eminent Punjabi singer, who performed live at the occasion.
Here is how the cricket fraternity reacted to the happy union of the cricketer and the Bollywood beauty.
