Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh recently slammed a person over his racist comments on fiancée Hazel Keech because her name is not ‘Hindu’ enough. Hazel, who is England-born is a renowned actress in India. It’s a true fact that in India, there are section who are victims of casteism. It surely does not take place in the current modern world but many times we come across such issues and one such example was recently witnessed.
The man in question is Piyush Sharma of Western Union in Jaipur, who treated Hazel in a bad way. The actress did not stop there and slammed him through her official Twitter account, and her fiance Yuvraj too joined in and replied quite aggressively and expected some serious action against him.
It was Hazel who took the first step by tweeting in which Yuvraj responded.
Mr Peeyush Sharma @WesternUnion in Jaipur is the most racist person ive met and refused to give money because my name is not “Hindu” enough
Yuvraj is currently not the part of Indian cricket team but remains one of the most influential and followed celebrities.
He is currently busy playing in Duleep Trophy, where he is leading the India Red side which has won its first match of the tournament by 219 runs against India Green. Their second game against India Blue is currently ongoing and is affected by rain.
