Zimbabwe won the toss and chose to field against Afghanistan in the second One-Day International (ODI) at Bulawayo. The two teams are playing in a bilateral series for the first time, and the experience and exposure will help them prepare well for the challenges that lie ahead.

Zimbabwe cruised to a comfortable 6-wicket win in the first ODI of the series. Afghanistan had batted first and set a target of 224 for Zimbabwe to chase down. Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza and Brendan Taylor were the top scorers for the hosts and helped them chase down the target.

The series will give both teams some much needed experience and exposure before their participation in ICC 2015 World Cup.
