Zimbabwe 211/7 | Overs 48

Elton Chigumbura 52 (68), Prosper Utseya 30 (28)

Utseya seals it with a six! Zimbabwe have done brilliantly to win this! Zimbabwe end their miserable run in ODIs. The Australians look disappointed. The fans celebrate!

Elton Chigumbura 51 (66), Prosper Utseya 21 (24)

Mitchell Starc to bowl the 48th over. Utseya hits one into the air, and Bailey does well to attempt a great catch, but just misses. Utseya hits one towards the boundary, but Mitchell Marsh saves it.

Zimbabwe 200/7 | Overs 47

Elton Chigumbura 51 (66), Prosper Utseya 21 (24)

Michael Clarke bowls his first over. Can he be the hero? Captain vs Captain here. And the second ball just goes past the edge of Chigumbura. He takes a single, 200 is up for Zimbabwe. Just 10 needed off the last 3 overs.

Zimbabwe 186/7 | Overs 46

Elton Chigumbura 50 (61), Prosper Utseya 20 (23)

Chigumbura gets his fifty! It might just be a match-winning one. And Prosper Utseya hits a boundary too. Australia have lost just once to Zimbabwe, and Duncan Fletcher was Zimbabwe’s hero in that game. Will Chigumbura be the one in this one? Just 11 runs needed now.

Zimbabwe 186/7 | Overs 45

Elton Chigumbura 49 (59), Prosper Utseya 16 (19)

Mitchell Starc to bowl the 45th over. Chigumbura hits a nice shot in the first ball, but it’s just three. Another shot in the second ball, and Cutting cuts it down to three at the boundary line. Great fielding from him. Every run being cheered by the crowd! Just 16 needed from the last five overs.

Zimbabwe 186/7 | Overs 44

Elton Chigumbura 44 (56), Prosper Utseya 13 (15)

Faulkner to bowl the 44th over. Utseya has scored a valuable 10 runs here, and if he scores 10 more, it may be enough for Zimbabwe to get home. Ben Cutting fields well to prevent a boundary, but Zimbabwe run three. Faulkner bowls a no-ball, and Zimbabwe need just 23 from six overs now.

Zimbabwe 182/7 | Overs 43

Elton Chigumbura 44 (52), Prosper Utseya 10 (13)

This match is going down to the wire. Elton Chigumbura has played a gem of an innings, but it’ll only be worth it if Zimbabwe get past the mark. The Zimbabwean fans are up on their feet, and cheering their country on. What a win it’ll be for them. Australia need a wicket! Seven overs to go, 28 needed!

Zimbabwe 163/7 | Overs 39

Elton Chigumbura 31 (37), Prosper Utseya 5 (4)

Tiripano is gone! Mitchell Starc takes his second. The ball has gone right through his defence, and hit the stumps. Utseya walks in to bat, and gets off the mark with a four.

OUT! Donald Tiripano b Starc 3 (12)

Zimbabwe 142/6 | Overs 33.5

Elton Chigumbura 22 (22), Prosper Utseya 0 (0)

Glenn Maxwell strikes! Malcolm Waller hits one straight into the hands of Maxwell. The Zimbabweans don’t bat as deep as the Australians and it’ll take something special from Chigumbura.

OUT! Malcolm Waller c&b Maxwell 11 (39)

Zimbabwe 132/5 | Overs 32

Elton Chigumbura 18 (19), Malcolm Waller 5 (31)

Nathan Lyon finishes his ten overs with excellent figures of 4 for 44. This partnership is starting to build now, but Australia are still ahead in the game.

Zimbabwe 116/5 | Overs 26

Elton Chigumbura 8 (4), Malcolm Waller 0 (10)

Oh dear, oh dear. Sean Williams departs too. Lyon again. From 100/2 to 106/5. Australia have snatched the game from the hosts. Skipper Elton Chigumbura walks in for the hosts, and hits a boundary first ball.

OUT! Sean Williams  c Clarke b Lyon 4 (5)

Michael Clarke is back on the field.

Zimbabwe 102/4 | Overs 24

Sean Williams 0 (3), Malcolm Waller 0 (4)

Oh dear! Lyon dismisses Taylor. What a comeback by Australia! Have Zimbabwe squandered it?

OUT! Brendan Taylor b Lyon 32 (26)

Zimbabwe 100/3 | Overs 23

Brendan Taylor 30 (23), Malcolm Waller 0 (4)

Mitchell Starc makes the crucial breakthrough! Masakadza walks back to the pavilion. This match has nice ebb and flow to it. Another wicket and Australia are right back in this. Malcolm Waller walks in for Zimbabwe.

OUT! Hamilton Masakadza b Starc 18 (35)

Zimbabwe 94/2 | Overs 21

Brendan Taylor 25 (20), Hamilton Masakadza 17 (30)

This partnership is hurting the Australians. Taylor and Masakadza are scoring, and scoring at a quick rate.

Zimbabwe 73/2 | Overs 17

Brendan Taylor 21 (16), Hamilton Masakadza 8 (10)

Both Masakadza and Taylor take Finch apart. 16 runs from the 17th over. That shifts the momentum back in Zimbabwe’s favor.

Zimbabwe 49/2 | Overs 14

Brendan Taylor 5 (3), Hamilton Masakadza 0 (5)

Mawoyo departs! Nathan Lyon with the wicket again. Australia are right back in this game. Zimbabwe, need to make sure their batting order doesn’t collapse like Australia’s did. Brendan Taylor comes in to bat, and hits a boundary first ball. Aaron Finch comes into bowl for Australia.

OUT! Tino Mawoyo b Lyon 15 (44)

Zimbabwe 42/1 | Overs 12

Tino Mawoyo 14 (38), Hamilton Masakadza 0 (4)

Lyon makes the breakthrough! Sikandar Raza departs. Zimbabwe should look to just see off Nathan Lyon’s overs. Australia might miss the Michael Clarke, the spinner, in this game.

OUT! Sikandar Raza c Smith b Lyon 22 (32)

Zimbabwe 35/0 | Overs 10

Tino Mawoyo 12 (31), Sikandar Raza 21 (29)

Zimbabwe have made a decent start here. Australia needed early wickets, and they haven’t been able to get it. Nathan Lyon has still not been introduced into the attack, and it’ll be interesting to see what impact he makes considering the pitch has been helpful for spinners.

Zimbabwe 9/0 | Overs 5

Tino Mawoyo 3 (17), Sikandar Raza 6 (13)

Zimbabwe have made a cautious start here. Sikandar Raza misjudges a Mitchell Starc delivery, and it hits his pads. Starc appeals, but Aleem Dar doesn’t give it. The Australian fast bowler isn’t holding back his words, and seems to be saying something to both Zimbabwean batsmen.

 Australia 209/9 | Overs 50

 N Lyon 8(3), M Clarke 68(102)

Final over of the innings now. Tiripano to bowl it. OH AND HE’S RUN OUT! Ben Cutting rather unfortunate there. Brendan Taylor misfields the ball onto the stumps, and Cutting was well short. And now Haddin holes out! Two wickets in the over!

OUT! Ben Cutting 26(22) run out Taylor, Brad Haddin 49(66) c Waller b Tiripano

Australia 200/7 | Overs 49

Brad Haddin 49(64), Ben Cutting 25(21)

Chatara again to bowl the penultimate over. BANG! SIX! Massive clobbering from Brad Haddin, my word! And now one from Cutting! Excellent stuff here from the Aussies.

Australia 150/7 | Overs 43.2

Brad Haddin 26 (51), Ben Cutting 0 (0)

Sean Williams strikes! Mitchell Starc is bowled. Australia are in serious trouble now, and even 200 seems improbable from here.

OUT! Mitchell Starc b Williams 3 (5)

Australia 147/6 | Overs 42.3

Brad Haddin 26 (51)

Oh dear! Michael Clarke walks back to the pavilion retired hurt. James Faulkner comes into bat, and he is out first ball! Zimbabwe are jubilant.

OUT! James Faulkner c Nyumbu b Utseya 0 (1)

Australia 137/5 | Overs 41

Michael Clarke 65 (97), Brad Haddin 19 (48)

Oh dear! Tendai Chatara drops one. Haddin has been given a life, and he is smiling. This is disappointing for Zimbabwe. They’ve played so well here, but little things like these can hurt their chances of victory.

Australia 126/5 | Overs 38

Michael Clarke 56 (89), Brad Haddin 15 (37)

The Zimbabwean bowlers are maintaining their intensity. Clarke and Haddin are stringing together a partnership, but the overs are running out for Australia. Zimbabwe have the luxury of four spinners – Williams, Utseya, Nyumbu and Waller, and scoring runs against them will be difficult for Australia on this pitch.

Australia 111/5 | Overs 34

Michael Clarke 53 (84), Brad Haddin 6 (19)

Michael Clarke has reached his fifty! He’ll be crucial for Australia to get past the 200 mark. Brad Haddin hits one into the air, and it falls just short of Marlon Waller.

Australia 97/5 | Overs 29

Michael Clarke 45 (72), Brad Haddin 0 (1)

Tiripano strikes! Great catch from Utseya. Mitchell Marsh is gone! They may still recover as they bat really deep. Zimbabweans mustn’t celebrate too much here.

OUT! Mitchell Marsh c Utseya b Tiripano 15 (37)

Australia 94/4 | Overs 28

Michael Clarke 43 (69), Mitchell Marsh 14 (35)

Both these batsman have somewhat steadied the ship for Australia. However, they have a lot of work left to be done. Clarke is approaching his half-century.

Australia 66/4 | Overs 20

Michael Clarke 25 (43), Mitchell Marsh 6 (13)

Marsh is off the mark with a boundary. Australia would have won the toss and thought that they would post a big total, like they did in the first ODI. However, some irresponsible batting has put them in trouble.  They will now look to put up a respectable total that they can defend.

Australia 57/4 | Overs 17

Michael Clarke 21 (37), Mitchell Marsh 0 (0)

Danger man Maxwell departs! Marlon Waller makes the dismissal. Australia in real trouble. Maxwell is furious with himself. 22-year-old Mitchell Marsh walks in!

OUT! Glenn Maxwell b Waller 13 (17)

Australia 52/3 | Overs 16

Michael Clarke 21 (37), Glenn Maxwell 9 (12)

This is  a crucial partnership for Australia. Maxwell’s approach is aggressive, but hasn’t been able to find the boundaries as easily as he did in the first ODI. Both Utseya and Williams bowling tight spells, and maintaining the pressure on Australia.

Australia 39/3 | Overs 12.2

Michael Clarke 17 (27), Glenn Maxwell 0 (0)

Utseya strikes! Philip Hughes departs. John Nyumbu takes the catch at first slip. And George Bailey departs too. Sean Williams bowls a peach of a delivery, to dismiss Bailey. Zimbabwe have done really well so far. Australia won’t get an easy win here. They’ll have to fight it out hard.

OUT! Philip Hughes c Nyumbu b Utseya 10 (30), George Bailey b Williams 1 (5)

Australia 35/1 | Overs 11

Michael Clarke 14 (25), P Hughes 10 (29)

Australia are patiently piling up the runs after Finch’s dismissal. Zimbabwe should look to take wickets, as they have the batting power to accelerate towards the end. There is a bit of turn in the pitch, which the Zimbabwean bowlers are looking to exploit.

Australia 18/1 | Overs 7

Michael Clarke 5 (15), P Hughes 2 (15)

Michael Clarke walks in to bat for Australia. Zimbabwe have made a spirited start to the game. But can they sustain it for the rest of the match?

Australia 11/1 | Overs 3.1

P Hughes 0(7)

The hugely impressive John Nyumbu continues, And he starts off with a maiden over, that is an excellent over from the off-spinner. Chatara again. And another boundary for Finch first ball! Five runs off the over. Here’s Nyumbu again. AND HE STRIKES FIRST BALL!

OUT! A Finch 11(12) b Nyumbu

Australia 6/0 | Overs 1

A Finch 6(6), P Hughes 0(0)

So here we go, Tendai Chatara to start proceedings, Aaron Finch to face. Dot ball to start with. Oh and Finch gets one away! Short outside off, and that’s easy pickings for Finch, first boundary of the game.

Australia have won the toss and have opted to bat first.

Australia will be powered with the return of Michael Clarke, who missed their opening two games in the triangular series, due to a hamstring injury. Nathan Lyon, who will be expected to exploit the spin-friendly conditions of Harare, will also make it to the starting XI. Clarke will replace Steven Smith, whereas Nathan Lyon will come in place of Mitchell Johnson. Click here to read the PREVIEW of Zimbabwe vs Australia 4th ODI.

According to AFP, Zimbabwe have crossed 200 just once in their last six ODI innings, and were bowled out for 152 in the first game against Australia. “It comes down to being ruthless,” captain Elton Chigumbura said. “Once you get yourself in, you must take the team through. “We are having guys with good starts, but they are not following up. That’s the major thing that we need to address.”

Wicketkeeper-batsman Richmond Mutumbami was on Friday ruled out of the remainder of the series after he suffered a fractured arm whilst batting in the nets, so Brendan Taylor will keep the gloves.
