Ahead of the One-Day International tri-series against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe  had their one and only warm-up match cancelled. Zimbabwe were supposed to play against BCB XI at Dhaka on January 13.

According to cricbuzz, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official said: “The warm-up game was cancelled as it would not be possible for the visitors to play a match tomorrow [January 13] after arriving in four separate groups.”

Zimbabwe were to land in Bangladesh on January 10, but that too got deferred till January 11. They are now expected to arrive on January 12. The tri-nation series begins on January 15, where teams play each other twice before the top two nations playing the final on January 27.

Bangladesh earlier announced a 16-man squad for the first 2 ODIs that included Mustafizur Rahman and Sabbir Rahman. Led by Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka too announced their 16-member unit for Bangladesh.

Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Mendis and Wanindu Hasaranga were recalled into the side.
