Ahead of the first Test against India at Trent Bridge, England’s players took part in a gruelling practice session. Alastait Cook, who has been in bad form with the bat tested his defensive skills. Chris Jordan and his pace colleague, James Anderson took part in fielding drills, including catching practice. Ben Stokes, the all-rounder tried his hand at both batting and bowling. Peter Moores was seen giving his views to Cook as well.
England will take on a youthful Indian side in the first Test. It has to be remembered that the last time England played India at home, the visitors were whitewashed 4-0. But the scenario is slightly different this time around, as England are low on confidence after their debacle in the Ashes 2013-14 followed by losing to Sri Lanka at home.
